Frank Lampard admits Everton are 'in tough times' but urges everyone at the club to 'move forward'... with Toffees rooted to relegation zone following defeat to West Ham

Everton manager Frank Lampard has urged supporters to stick with the club following the 2-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium. 

Jarrod Bowen struck twice in the first-half to hand the hosts all three points and ensure Everton are rooted to the relegation zone.  

Pressure on Lampard has grown and he has admitted the club is in 'tough times', with a number of fans seen protesting in the stands.

Speaking to BBC after Saturday's loss, Lampard said: 'Fans are realists, they have watched the team over the last few year. History moves and nothing gives you the right to be in their league, we have seen huge football clubs go down. 

'If you don't move you will hit tough times, we are in tough times and everyone has to try to move forward.'

The defeat to West Ham means Everton are winless in their last eight league games, with their last victory coming against Crystal
