The New York Jets have hired former Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett as their new offensive coordinator.
Hackett, 43, joins Robert Saleh's staff after a disastrous season as head coach of the Broncos, who fired him midseason.
He returns to the coordinator ranks after a rough first season leading a franchise, posting a disappointing 4–11 record before being fired.

The Jets have been searching for a new offensive coordinator after parting ways with Mike LaFleur recently.
Despite a disappointing stint with the Broncos, Hackett has previously fielded a top-10 scoring offense three times and his offense helped three teams to Conference Championship games (2017-JAX, 2019-GB, 2020-GB).
Before taking charge in Denver, Hackett spent three seasons as offensive coordinator of the Packers under Matt LaFleur.
In Green Bay, he helped lead the team to three straight 13-win seasons and two NFC championship game
