NBL player Harry Froling has made his first statement since surgery for a fractured skull and brain bleed after a one-punch attack in Wollongong left the Brisbane Bullets big man unconscious and bleeding from the ears.
Froling is in a stable condition and remains in Brisbane hospital after an alleged punch to the head left him unconscious on a Wollongong street.
It occurred about 2am on Sunday after the Bullets' defeat of the Hawks on Saturday.
Froling had surgery for a fractured skull and brain bleeding. He was allegedly punched in Wollongong while the team was away for a match against the Illawarra Hawks
Scans then reportedly confirmed a fractured skull and bleed on the brain that required surgery.
The Bullets star made his first statement since going in for surgery on social media on Monday, thanking friends and family for their support.
