One of the best women's basketball players on the planet is coming back to her home state as former WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart announced she's signing with the New York Liberty.
After spending six seasons with the Seattle Storm, Stewart announced on Twitter that she'd be moving to Brooklyn to be with the Liberty - who enter this WNBA season as one of the favorites for the title.
The Syracuse-native returned to New York after winning two WNBA titles with the Storm and clinching the MVP award in 2018.
