The visa issues that left star Pakistan-born batter Usman Khawaja stranded in Australia have been resolved as the star posted a touching photo of his goodbye with daughter Aisha.
Australia's No.1-ranked squad took staggered flights to the subcontinent on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test, beginning in Nagpur on February 9.
Khawaja had to remain in Sydney waiting for his documentation to be approved but got his visa and passport late on Wednesday night, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
He has flown out to Bengaluru and posted a moving shot of his farewell with his daughter on Instagram, captioning it 'that goodbye hit different today' accompanied by two crying emojis and a broken-heart symbol.
