Argentina World Cup winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez dominated the pre-match build-up as he was given the green light to make his Chelsea debut following his £107m arrival, while Mykhailo Mudryk prepared himself for a first Stamford Bridge outing.

Blues boss Graham Potter let off the shackles amid the club's desperate search to climb up the Premier League standings but couldn't find the correct balance against an impressive Fulham side.

Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw by their cross-city opponents who move up to sixth in the Premier League table as their European ambitions received another boost.

All eyes were on the teamsheet an hour before kick-off to see whether £107m English record-breaking signing Enzo Fernandez would feature. Not only did he make the squad, the Argentinian started and played the full 90 minutes for the struggling hosts.

Fernandez produced a sound performance on his debut, breaking up play in defence and one of Chelsea's few bright sparks when in attack.

The midfielder demonstrated his box-to-box abilities, boasting 96 touches and completing two successful dribbles amidst a combative Fulham midfield. 

His shot midway through the second-half looked goalbound but just went wide of the upright. A
