The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs have touched down in Phoenix, Arizona ahead of next Sunday's Super Bowl showdown. 

As the anticipation for the big game ramps up this week, the two participating teams arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Sunday afternoon. 

The Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, jetted in first before the Eagles flew in about 45 minutes later. 

As the Chiefs players descended from the plane, Mahomes was stopped by former Kansas City star Christian Okoye for a selfie. 

The MVP contender stood out in a multi-colored Louis Vuitton print hoodie and gold reflective wraparound sunglasses. 

Head coach Andy Reid followed behind with his wife Tammy, both donning Chiefs' team colors as the 64-year-old sported a black suit and red tie and his spouse complimented his look in a matching red, long-sleeved midi-dress. 

Tight end Travis Kelce, who will be competing against brother Jason as the first siblings to face off against each other at a Super Bowl, also donned a fashionable look. 

Kelce, the younger of the two brothers, wore brown corduroy pants and a light beige jumper which he topped off with a wide-brimmed hat. 

Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts led the way for the Eagles who were also greeted by a former player as they deplaned. 

Former Philadelphia defensive back Eric Allen met the quarterback as he reached the bottom of the plane steps and handed him and the other players commemorative hats. 

Hurts showed strong team pride through his outfit choice as he donned the Eagles' white and green. 

He wore a bomber jacket in the team colors which had the franchise name across the front in white over a green panel with an Eagle patch sewn onto the top left shoulder. He had a white hoodie underneath and light blue jeans on. 

He clutched a Louis Vuitton travel bag in his hands, topping the look off with a cap and headphones.
