A glamorous Perth racing identity and her female rival have both been banned from the sport after a trackside fight ended up with one being punched in the face.
Adele Hobby, daughter of one of Perth's most successful greyhound trainers of all-time, David Hobby, faced a Racing and Wagering WA (RWWA) enquiry alongside owner Carrigan Wilson-Collis on Monday.
On January 13 at the Mandurah track, Hobby was holding a trophy when she confronted Wilson-Collis, who is believed to have owned dogs with the prominent Hobby kennel.
According to the inquiry, Hobby shoved the trophy into the chest of Wilson-Collis, before the fight escalated at the on-course bar.
