Nicolo Zaniolo looks to at last have been granted a move away from Roma after the forward's stay in the Italian capital reached an acrimonious end in January.

Zaniolo has been given the green light to pursue a move to Galatasaray, with the player set to fly to the Turkish giants on Tuesday from Milan as per reports in Italy.

Both Galatasaray and rivals Fenerbahce had reportedly offered the player an escape route from his Roma hell after being removed from Jose Mourinho's squad list.

But now he could be set for an exit from the Serie A side, with the Italian side set to complete the paperwork as he makes his way to the Turkish capital in order to ensure a smooth transfer.
