Graham Potter admitted it was nice to go home victorious following a tough period of suffering for Chelsea after a victory over Leeds that he agreed was massive.
Chelsea claimed just their second win in 12 games against Leeds, in the first of two matches pivotal to his future and ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Borussia Dortmund, which the Londoners will begin a goal down.
Defender Wesley Fofana's second-half header eased the pressure on a relieved Potter who said: 'It [the feeling after winning] is better than the opposite, that's for sure.
'I'm delighted for the players and I'm delighted for the supporters because they are the most important people at the football club. People care. Players want to win and supporters want us to do well.
'If you don't get results it is my responsibility. I accept that. It's been a tough period for us all and it's nice to go home with a win. It's good for confidence and morale.
