Gary Neville has ripped into Bruno Fernandes for 'throwing his arms around' and constantly whinging after a shambolic captain's performance in the 7-0 mauling by Liverpool.
Labelled by Sportsmail's Chris Sutton as one of the worst displays ever by a Premier League player, Fernandes was singled out in the aftermath by Neville for failing in his role as Manchester United captain.
'I'm going to start with Bruno Fernandes,' a fuming Neville said on Sky Sports.
'I've had enough of him throwing his arms around at his team-mates; I've had enough of him not running back; he whinges at everybody.'
He added: 'He got pushed in the chest and went down holding his face. He's got to put a captain's performance in out there and that wasn't a captain's performance by a Manchester United player.'
Fernandes, who was also labelled a 'disgrace' by Neville in the post-mortem at Anfield, appeared to wave his arms in discontent when Erik ten Hag did not take him off late in the game.
