The Dallas Cowboys have ensured running back Tony Pollard will remain in Arlington for at least one more season after using the franchise tag.
According to NFL insider, Adam Schefter, Pollard's salary for the upcoming season will be $10.09million, unless Jerry Jones can agree to an extension prior to July 18.
Pollard was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2022 after rushing for 1,007 yards from 193 attempts - the highest of his career. He added nine touchdowns along the ground.
The former Memphis man was characteristically a threat in the receiving game too, amassing 371 receiving yards on 39 receptions, with three touchdowns through the air.
