The Ryanair Chase offers the best chance of winning for Ga Law, who still needs to finish in the places in a race of at least three miles to enable him to take up his entry in the Grand National at Aintree next month. The Gold Cup will be the gelding’s last chance to secure his entry. Snowden said: ‘We have got ourselves into a tricky position, but a lovely position.’ The participation of favourite Blazing Khal in the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle is hanging in the balance. The seven-year-old, trained by Charles Byrnes, sustained a cut on a leg when winning the Boyne Hurdle at Navan last month which required him to be placed on antibiotics, disrupting his training. Trainer Jamie Snowden (pictured) is undecided on whether to run Ga Law in the Ryanair Chase Blazing Khal faces an important work-out on Friday to see if he has a chance of making the Festival. The Coral Cup gamble on Camprond has seen the gelding, who was a 12-1 shot last week, backed into 7-1 joint favourite. Camprond, trained by Philip Hobbs, finished fourth in the race last year.
