Sonny Bill Williams has ignited yet another storm on social media, with the footy legend sharing a message from woman-hating social media influencer Andrew Tate, who is in jail awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking.
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in December on suspicion of rape and human trafficking in Romania, and remain in custody after two women were allegedly held against their will and coerced into creating paid pornography.
The viral social media star and kickboxer is renowned for his extremist, misogynistic views and continues to sprout his bizarre thoughts from his jail cell, including comparing himself to Nelson Mandela.
And it appears he has one very high-profile supporter in Williams - who is a Muslim, like Tate.
'Ameen' Williams wrote to a comment Tate sharing on his social media saying: 'Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear'.
