WWE will end an 18 year hiatus from the island of Puerto Rico when the wrestling promotion returns with a pay-per-view event in May.
In a press release, WWE announced they would be bringing its Backlash to the island on May 6 live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.
According to the release, Backlash will be the first WWE premium live event in Puerto Rico since January of 2005.
