Owen Hargreaves has urged PSG to 'rip their whole project up and start again' after they were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday.

The French side lost 2-0 to Bayern Munich in Germany, a 3-0 aggregate score, as they fell short of their ambitions again.

The club has never won the Champions League, but has invested hundreds of millions of pounds in an attempt to do so.

They have won Ligue 1 in eight of the last 10 years, but have repeatedly struggled on the European stage.

Following their latest failure, Hargreaves insisted Christophe Galtier's side need to start again with younger, home grown players in their squad.
