Former NFL quarterback Scott Zolak insisted that a return to the field wasn't off the table for Tom Brady, despite the legend's insistence that he would not perform another retirement U-turn.

45-year-old Brady shutdown talk of him coming out of retirement for a second time earlier this week after NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen said he heard rumors of the star returning to play for the Miami Dolphins while at the combine last week.

Despite Brady's insistence, former New England quarterback Zolak, who currently serves as a Patriots radio broadcaster isn't buying it.

He claimed that Brady coming out of retirement for a second time to ply his trade in Miami is still on the table.

'Brady may go to Miami,' Zolak said on NBC Sports Boston. 'I think that's in play. I do. I think the possibility of him coming out of retirement is definitely 100 percent in play.

Zolak was referring to Brady's tweet Tuesday that poured cold water on the retirement U-turn rumors.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner claimed his family's new addition - his 10-year-old daughter Vivian's new kitten - was taking too much of his time for him to consider a return to the turf.

'Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter,' he said.

Brady's daughter Vivian hacked the former NFL quarterback's Instagram account last month to share some pictures of their newly-adopted Siamese kittens.

Brady, who has two children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, including Vivian and 13-year-old son, Benjamin, initially revealed that he adopted several kittens earlier in February.

'Vivi wins again,' the three-time NFL MVP shared on Instagram, alongside a video of his new cats play-fighting. 'Thanks @loganryan and @coolmbreezy this is what my mornings are like now. @humansocietytampa they are in good, loving hands.'
