The Los Angeles Chargers were able to fix their salary cap issues without having to release any key players after restructuring the contracts of four of the most expensive deals on their books.
LA restructured the deals of superstar edge rushers Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack, along with star wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams in order to create $40.37 million salary cap space.
Before restructuring each player would have carried a salary cap hit of over $32 million. Williams would have carried the cheapest hit of $32.4m, while Allen's was set for $34.7m, Bosa's would have been $36.6m, and Mack's would have been the most expensive at $38.5m.
