The BBC are braced for more chaos in their sport coverage today after Match of the Day was cut to just over 20 minutes amid the staggering fallout from the Gary Lineker row.

BBC Sport endured a calamitous 24 hours as Lineker’s colleagues withdrew from their jobs in solidarity after he was suspended by the broadcaster.
