Smith-Schuster stands 6-foot-1 and at 215 pounds and comes in as a replacement for Jakobi Meyers, who departed the team to sign with the Raiders in free agency.

He'll join a wide receiver corps featuring DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, and last year's second-round pick Tyquan Thornton.

Last year, Smith-Schuster caught 78 passes for 933 yards and three touchdowns. Combined, the Patriots receivers mentioned above (without Meyers) caught a combined 88 passes for 1,220 yards and six touchdowns.

Meyers led New England for receiving yards with 804 while also hauling in a team-high six touchdown catches.

In the days following the Super Bowl Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a Valentine's Day themed that set off a social media back and fourth between the two teams.
