Leon Edwards has rejected Dana White's plan for him to face Colby Covington in his next title defence.
'Rocky' won a majority decision against Kamaru Usman in a thrilling five-round clash at UFC 286 at a packed out O2 Arena.
Covington was the back-up and made weight on Friday. White said after Edwards' win that 'Chaos' would be next, words that were then put to the champion.
'I don't know how Colby makes sense,' he said. 'He hasn't fought for more than a year and half.
'There are other active guys in the division. I'm the king now, I've earned my way and should decide who is next.
