Ukrainian refugees and sponsor families in the UK will be given the opportunity to attend Sunday's Euro 2024 qualifier between England and Ukraine at Wembley.

The fixture will see 1,000 tickets made available free of charge to those who have fled Russia's invasion of their home country, as well as the families that have given them refuge.

The FA and Wembley stadium have invited them as special guests to the match, which comes just over a year since Russia's invasion first began.

The Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) worked alongside the stadium's team to offer fans the opportunity to watch their side in action, and as a way of thanking the British families that have opened their doors.

The game is expected to be a sell-out with some 4,200 Ukrainian fans in attendance, although Peter Rewko, chair of the AUGB, anticipates that there will be plenty of away supporters cheering for the home side too.
