Channel Seven commentator Daisy Pearce was banned from Richmond's change room after their season-opening clash with Carlton because of her role with rivals Geelong, it has been revealed.
The AFLW great, who is one of the most respected commentators in the country, is also working as an assistant coach for the Cats this year.
Seven regularly gives viewers a window into the sheds on gameday, but the Tigers objected to having an opposing coach having access to what they do behind the scenes.
Carlton didn't have a problem with Pearce being in their rooms during round one, but it's understood other teams might have an issue with it, according to the Herald Sun.
