The FA has warned England fans attending Thursday's Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy not to wear belts to the stadium over concerns they could be used as a weapon by supporters.
More than 2,500 tickets have been sold to Three Lions fans ahead of the clash at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples, and Italian police are on high alert amid growing safety concerns.
Napoli's Champions League match with Eintracht Frankfurt last week was blighted by scenes of chaos and disorder outside the stadium, as police were called in to stop fans from rioting, fighting and setting cars ablaze.
Due to England's surly history with Napoli icon Maradona and Italy, who beat the Three Lions in the Euro 2020 final, fears over fan safety have snowballed.
England manager Gareth Southgate urged earlier this week that the FA has put assurances in place over fan welfare.
