Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after the 2022 season, according to reports on Wednesday, as the procedure was considered a 'minor cleanup'.
The 34-year-old has since resumed workouts and throwing, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, and is expected to be ready for the start of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) this offseason.
Wilson had the procedure to resolve an issue that 'nagged him for a few seasons,' according to Rapoport. The one-time Super Bowl champion is entering his second season in Denver but first under new head coach Sean Payton.
