NRL legend Gorden Tallis has produced one of the most bizarre scenarios in recent memory, comparing Eels star Mitchell Moses' quest for more money to buying a lady a cocktail.
The Broncos great turned media personality left his NRL360 co-hosts baffled as he launched into a bizarre comparison of Moses' chase for the big bucks in his next contract.
Moses is locked in a battle with the Eels, and Tigers, with his club's offer not enough to get business done as of yet.
Parramatta have offered the halfback a reported $1.25million per year over four years. That's dwarfed by the Tigers - who he played for from 2014 to 2017 - who reportedly offered the star $2million more than the Eels over five years.
Tallis is adamant a halfback with just one solitary State of Origin to his name and no premiership is worthy of anything even remotely close to it.
