Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst has hit back at his critics and claimed he is 'doing a good job for the team'.
The Dutch forward moved to Erik ten Hag's side on loan from Burnley in January after having a positive loan spell during the first half of the campaign at Besiktas - where he scored nine goals in 18 games - cut short.
He has since been a key part of a rejuvenated United side under his fellow countryman, starting 18 out of the 18 games he has been available for in all competitions.
However, he has scored just two goals and is yet to notch in eight Premier League matches, which has led to criticism that he is not good enough for the club.
Weghorst fought back at his detractors though and claimed the fact Ten Hag has made him a regular member of his starting XI is evidence he is more than capable of playing
