Finnish businessman Thomas Zilliacus claims to have submitted an offer to buy half of Manchester United, proposing for fans to purchase the remainder.
A press release issued by social media group novaM Group, which Zilliacus founded and chairs, claimed the company would fund half of a proposed takeover.

'Any sport club ultimately should belong to its fans,' Zilliacus said.
