Manchester City up-and-comer Alex Robertson has turned heads after he declared winning a World Cup with Australia is on his football bucket list.
The midfielder, 19, made the remarkable claim after making his Socceroos debut against Ecuador on Friday night at Commbank Stadium in Sydney.
Robertson represented England's under-16s, 17s and 19s - and also could have played for Scotland, given he was born in Dundee.
Additionally, his Peruvian mother opened the door for him to represent the South American nation - but after growing up in Sydney, the in-demand teen was always leaning towards Australia.
When thrown into the fray by coach Graham Arnold, Robertson didn't look out of place in the heart of midfield, and played a part in Australia's final goal in the 3-1 victory in front of 20,668 fans.
