Didier Deschamps has insisted captaincy 'will not change' Kylian Mbappe after playing his first game as national skipper against the Netherlands.

Les Bleus won the Euros qualifier 4-0 as Mbappe bagged a brace following goals from Antoine Griezmann' and Dayot Upamecano in the first ten minutes. 

It was an important result in France's first game since losing the World Cup final to Argentina last summer. 

Deschamps' decision to make the 24-year-old Mbappe captain had raised eyebrows, with Griezmann reportedly upset that he had been overlooked for the role. The pair have since made
