The bad blood between Caleb Plant and David Benavidez comes to a head on Saturday night when the two meet in a Showtime pay-per-view main event. The winner will leave with not only bragging rights, but with the interim WBC super middleweight championship currently held by Benavidez, and a spot as mandatory challenger to undisputed champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
Plant and Benavidez have had a heated rivalry for years but have not been able to find their way into the same ring. Meanwhile, Benavidez has captured multiple world championships while going undefeated and Plant also held a world title before losing to Alvarez, his lone career loss.

The undercard fills out with some fun matchups hardcore fans will be excited about. Jesus Ramos is set to return against Joey Spencer in a super welterweight contest. Former interim titleholder Chris Colbert is back in his first bout at lightweight when he takes on Jose Valenzuela. Colbert is coming off a stunning loss to Hector Luis Garcia in his last outing -- the first loss of his career -- where he was also dropped late.
Plus, rising welterweight prospect Cody Crowley is back in action when he takes on veteran Abel Ramos to open the PPV. Crowley, the 30-year-old Canadian, is undefeated in 21 pro fights. He's coming off the biggest win of his career in April 2022 when he outpointed Josesito Lopez. Ramos should provide a good test as he's off at the title level as recently as 2020.
