Haley and Hanna Cavinder may be known as the collegiate twins making waves on social media and in the NIL space, but presently they are two parts of a University of Miami team continually creating history during March Madness.
The 22-year-old twins have a social media following which surpasses that of most professional sports organizations - with 4.5million followers on TikTok.
While their social media platforms remain very active during the tournament, the Cavinder twins have been impactful on the hardcourt too, helping The U reach the Elite Eight for the first time in the women's program's history.
Miami entered the tournament unfancied, ranked a No. 9 seed after being blown out by 26 points against Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament. Though, the team have surpassed expectation and history - beating No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 1 Indiana, and No. 4 Villanova Friday to set up Sunday's Elite Eight game.

LUCRATIVE NIL DEALS AND INFLUENCE
The Cavinder girls have used their creativity, athletic and aesthetic prowess to secure endorsement deals with Victoria's Secret Pink, Boost Mobile, Champs Sports, Leaf trading cards and Intruit TurboTax, among others.
According to On3, a valuation for the pair's annual NIL value sits at $851,000 each - despite their young age. Both Hanna and Haley ranked as the two highest-earning female basketball players, and 32nd/33rd overall in college sports.
Like LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, the twins signed an NIL deal with Caktus AI -- an artificial intelligence company. They posted a video of a commercial alongside Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
Miami did receive a punishment, however, for NIL violations relating to the twins. The U's athletic department is on probation for one year after the school and NCAA said women's basketball coaches inadvertently helped arrange impermissible contact between a booster and the social media influencers.
