Rob Wilkinson, who made history last year by becoming the first Aussie to win a PFL World Championship title, has opened up about his plans for 2023 and desire to be the best light heavyweight on the planet.

Wilkinson, 31, had a brief spell in the UFC as a middleweight, which ended when he was defeated by future champion Israel Adesanya in 2018.

Since then the Tasmanian has moved to America to train and remodelled himself as a light heavyweight - and the results speak for themselves.

'Razor' hasn't lost a fight in his new weight class and earned himself a cool $1.5 million last year by winning the Professional Fighters League light heavyweight title.

'It was unreal. Winning a world title has always been one of my goals,' Wilkinson told Daily Mail Australia.
