Patriots owner Robert Kraft revealed at the NFL's owners meetings Monday that Lamar Jackson has apparently expressed interest in joining the Patriots.
The star quarterback, who shocked football fans by writing on Twitter that he'd requested a trade from the Ravens on March 2, is in search of a long-term contract and is currently set to enter unrestricted free agency after next season.
And according to Kraft, rapper and friend Meek Mill relayed to him via text 'three or four days ago' that Jackson wanted to join the storied New England franchise.
Kraft told reporters in Phoenix that trading or not trading for Jackson would be coach and GM Bill Belichick's decision.
The admission came the same day as Jackson took to Twitter to reveal he had made a trade request to the Ravens earlier this month.
