Former Formula 1 team manager Peter Windsor has described Oscar Piastri's move to McLaren as one of the 'most astonishing decisions' in the history of the sport, but insisted the Australian has all it takes to win a world title.

Following the embarrassing PR own goal, Alpine team boss Otmar Szafnauer accused Piastri of 'lacking integrity' and the quarrel had to be eventually settled by the FIA's Contract Review Board.
