The Los Angeles Lakers star's kids took to the floor for the highly-regarded skills competition on Monday night. It was NBA prospect and Sierra Canyon hotshot Bronny, 18, who was vying for supremacy and he called on his 15-year-old brother in the championship round. Six-foot-three Bronny dunked over his 6-foot-5 sibling after a few attempts, earning him a score of 63/70 from the judges. The teenager lost out in the final to Duke forward Sean Stewart but The King was more than impressed. Bronny James competed in the McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest 20 years after his dad He posted on his Instagram profile: 'That's INSANE!!! Wow. McDonalds Slam Dunk Competition,' alongside a picture of a camera with the shot of Bronny landing the dunk. LeBron wasn't in attendance at the Delmar Athletic Complex in Houston, Texas, but his wife Savannah was. She was seen supporting her son and holding up her '10' score for his dunks. Bronny scored 65/70 in his opening round and then 57/70 before advancing to the finals. The 18-year-old guard, who was officially named a five-star college recruit, played his last high school basketball game earlier this month. Bronny is yet to announce where he will play his basketball after graduating from high school but Ohio State is the favorite to sign him for the 2023 college basketball season. While he still has two years to go before he could potentially make his NBA debut, there is a strong chance Bronny could suit up with his father in a league game seeing as LeBron has spoken multiple times about wanting to team up with his son. Before then Bronny will take to the court in McDonald's All-American game tonight. Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site (dailymail) and under his responsibility
