Luis Enrique seemingly closed the door on any links with Tottenham - and indeed the English top-flight in general - this summer, but failed to rule out a move to the Premier League in the future.
The ex-Spain and Barcelona boss revealed that England will likely not be the destination for his return to club management, having departed La Roja after a Last-16 exit at the World Cup.
Enrique has been linked with the vacant managerial position at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as well as Mauricio Pochettino, Frankfurt's Oliver Glasner and recently-sacked Julian Nagelsmann.
Antonio Conte's exit was confirmed on Sunday, following his explosive post-match press conference in the wake of Tottenham's 3-3 draw at Southampton, having led 3-1 with 13 minutes to play.
But although Enrique put paid to rumours linking him with the role at Spurs this summer, he did however admit that he would like to work in England in the future.
