LeBron James doesn't need Twitter's verification to cement his place as one of sports all-time greats... and it's just as well.
The Lakers star revealed on Friday that he won't pay the $8 fee that is being introduced on the social media platform for a blue tick, meaning he is now set to lose his verified status.
He wrote on his account: 'Welp guess my blue tick will be gone soon cause if you know me I ain't paying the five.'
