The most highly-anticipated event in the WWE calendar will take place this weekend with WrestleMania 39. 

In the main event, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes.

Also featuring on this weekend's card, Charlotte Flair will face long-term rival Rhea Ripley for the Smackdown women’s championship.

WrestleMania 39 will also see several other eye-catching matches take place over the two days.

When is WrestleMania 39?

The biggest event in the WWE calendar is set to get underway tonight, while the second night of action will get underway tomorrow.

This year's blockbuster event will be held at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home to NFL’s LA Chargers and The LA Rams. The stadium has a capacity of 70,240.

It’s the first time the event has been held in Hollywood since WrestleMania 21 back in 2005.

ROMAN REIGNS VS CODY RHODES 

Cody Rhodes booked his place at WrestleMania after winning the Royal Rumble earlier this year - which would set up the showdown with Roman Reigns. 

Reigns will be looking to continue his run as the undisputed universal Champion for over 900 days.

Heading into this weekend's main event, both men look extremely fired up and determined for their WrestleMania match. This is arguably the most anticipated match of the event with fans wondering if Rhodes can stop Reigns' long run or if Reigns will continue being the Undisputed Universal Champion.
