Bournemouth hauled themselves out of the relegation zone after coming from behind to beat Fulham with Dominic Solanke’s first goal since Bonfire Night giving them the precious three points.

After starting well and going into an early need without Aleksandar Mitrovic, Fulham crumbled at the beginning of the second half as substitute Marcus Tavernier inspired a fightback from the Cherries.

Tavernier equalised Andreas Pereira’s early strike with a wonder goal before Solanke scored his fifth goal of the season 11 minutes from time.

After a quiet start to the game, the Portuguese was left jumping for joy as Fulham scored a brilliant opener.

The away end were busy singing in support of Mitrovic throughout but the team certainly didn’t miss him in a commanding first-half showing at The Vitality Stadium.
