Bronny James is trending upward as he nears a career in professional basketball, with one NBA scout suggesting he won't be drafted due to his name and rather, his NBA caliber skill set.
James Jr. scored 15 points in the McDonald's All-American and put on an eye-catching display in the dunk contest the night prior.
'Bronny won't get drafted because he's LeBron's kid,' an NBA scout told On3. 'He'll get drafted because he's an NBA player. He works hard, goes about his business, and is tough.'
Another scout had a slightly different perspective while speaking to the outlet; 'Bronny is a good, two-three year college player.'
James Jr. has yet to commit to a plan, publicly at least, as to his team for next season after finishing his high school career at Sierra Canyon.
