Rio Ferdinand has claimed Patrice Evra regularly leaves a WhatsApp group chat for Manchester United's 2008 Champions League winners.

The former United centre-back revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson's famous Premier League and Champions League-winning squad share a group chat so as to keep in touch.

Players in the chat include the likes of Wayne Rooney, Darren Fletcher and Nani. However, there is one man who finds himself on the end regular group chat ribbings.

'Evra just comes in and out because he gets bullied in there,' Ferdinand told Mo Gilligan's The Lateish Show.

'He gets ripped and all you see is, "Patrice has left the group"'.
