Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will go head to head for a second time at UFC 291 this summer, with the vacant 'BMF' title up for grabs in Salt Lake City.
Five years on from their first encounter, which saw Poirier prevail via TKO after four rounds, the former interim lightweight champions are set to collide once again on July 29.
And this time around the UFC's 'Baddest Motherf****r' championship - introduced as a prize for Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal's clash in 2019 - will be on the line after Masvidal vacated the belt upon retiring from MMA last month.
It is the first time the BMF title has been involved in a bout since Masvidal's win over Diaz four years ago, and either Poirier or Gaethje will succeed him as the new champion this summer.
