The rugby league community has been celebrating the life of Tina Turner this week following her passing but the endless replays of the '(Simply) The Best' NRL promo has dredged up terrible memories for one footy legend.
When Turner travelled to Australia to record the promotional material for the footy campaign, players were called upon to provide the muscle for the content.
Iconic images of legends like Andrew Ettingshausen and Wayne 'Junior' Pearce showing off their rigs on the beach with Turner have become popular once more.
However the experience was not as memorable for Paul 'Fatty' Vautin who was infamously kicked off the set by the American director.
