Toronto and Italy midfielder Federico Bernardeschi has been repeatedly told off for vaping around the team, it has been claimed - after it emerged he has been dropped for Saturday's game against DC United.
Bernardeschi publicly criticized coach Bob Bradley after last weekend's defeat against Austin, saying the team 'need to (have) a little bit more tactics... (and) an idea of how we play.'
Now, it has been reported in The Athletic that Bernardeschi has been vaping on team flights and around their practice facility.
The publication adds that the incidents with the 29-year-old midfielder, who is paid $6.3million a year, have happened despite being told several times to stop.
