The Denver Nuggets' long wait is nearly over, not for its first championship in the franchise history -- that will have to wait -- but after seven long days Denver will find out who its NBA Finals opponent is.
While admitting there have been challenges in not knowing what's next the Nuggets have stayed locked in ahead of the potential history-making best-of-seven series ahead of them.
'I think really just keep our head down and stay focused, took a couple of days of rest and just watch these games,' Michael Porter Jr. said Monday.
'Just trying to keep our head down, stay focused until we get this ring.'
Standing in the way of Denver and championship jewelry is either Miami or Boston, whose respective fates will be decided in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals at 8:30p ET.
