Jets general manager Joe Douglas is confident that he will be able to get an extension completed for star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

After an offseason where Douglas swung for Aaron Rodgers and Allen Lazard, the GM and his staff are confident that a deal can get done in the coming weeks.

'I'm not worried at all,' head coach Robert Saleh said. 'That thing will get done, and he'll be here.'

Unlike a few years ago, where the Jets were more than willing to dump another star defensive player in Jamal Adams, New York appears to have a high value on Williams and wants him to stay long term.
