Queensland Origin enforcer David Fifita is adamant his girlfriend will be cheering him on - and proudly wearing a Maroons jumper - when he runs out to play NSW on Wednesday.
Shaylee Bent isn't so sure, and with good reason - the NRLW star will represent the Blues herself 24 hours later.
The sporting power couple are believed to live together in the Sunshine State, with Bent, 22, recently signing with the Gold Coast Titans ahead of the women's competition starting in July.
She also represented NSW in 2020 - and while excited for her man Fifita, she is having no part of wearing a Maroons jersey when she watches the clash with her teammates ahead of their own interstate match.
