Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has revealed the bizarre superstition that he believes has helped him to success throughout his career. 

The Brazilian keeper has already enjoyed a trophy-laden career at the age of 29 - and he is currently in the midst of his most successful season as a player.

Man City have already claimed the Premier League title and they could be on their way to a Treble, if they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday, followed by Inter Milan in the Champions League final next week. 

Most players have their own superstitions, but Ederson's is much different to most.

In an interview with TNT Sports carried by Record, he admitted to wearing the same pair of pants across the season, before throwing them away for a new pair to wear across the following campaign.
