Real Madrid are reportedly ready to test the waters at Tottenham offer for Harry Kane.
Spanish outlet Sport report that Florentino Perez is going to attempt to bring down the Englishman's price, despite Tottenham preparing to dig their heels in over thier star man.
Mail Sport reported on Sunday that sources have indicated Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will quote Madrid a minimum starting price of £100million for Kane.
There is, though, believed to be room to negotiate and it appears that Real Madrid are keen to put that to the test with this reported opening bid of €80m (£69m).
Karim Benzema's departure this summer leaves a large hole in their attack and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a double raid on the Premier League, with the second player on his shortlist Chelsea star Kai Havertz.
